Welcome to Vintage Books, an independent family owned bookstore and mail order business. We have been serving book-lovers and auto enthusiasts for over 30 years.

We’ve always put our priority where our hearts are: the best book selection we can offer and the most knowledgeable, dedicated staff.

Our staff are all passionate readers-- the diversity of our preferences can be seen on our “staff choices” shelves. We work hard to make your book buying experience easy, and treat your books with the care we would treat our own.

If you were to visit our physical store, you’d find us to be pretty low key. Plain pine bookcases, old rugs, old chairs and a small couch in the children’s area. Blank vertical surfaces are covered with old ads, sayings, booklists and displayed books.

We are unable to list our extensive selection of used paperbacks, some of the automotive items and hardbacks on-line, because our inventory changes daily.

We will be happy to check our shelves if you don’t see what you seek.

About Wessel & Lieberman...

Wessel & Lieberman Booksellers was established in 1992. We maintain an open shop in the historic Pioneer Square district of Seattle, within walking distance from the main downtown core, and accessible from several bus lines.

We are a full service bookshop specializing in new, used, rare, and out of print books and related material. Our areas of interest include, but are not limited to: Pacific Northwest History & Literature; Western Americana; Poetry; First Editions; Travel; Fine & Decorative Arts; Books about Books, and Book Arts. Our gallery features exhibits of books arts & fine art. We happily work with individuals and institutions in developing their collections.

A major portion of our inventory is catalogued and accessible on-line; we also issue topical on-line lists and printed catalogues which are available on request.

We are always interested in acquiring new material, and welcome the opportunity to discuss individual volumes and collections of any size.

Shop hours are Monday thru Saturday, 11 am to 6 pm. We are also available outside of normal business hours, by appointment. Members, Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America (ABAA).
